Leviticus 6:12 is part of the instructions of Aaron and his sons for their priestly duties. They were responsible to keep the fire on the altar constantly burning and to never die out. The Hebrew word for fire is "ha esh" meaning both physical fire and being a metaphor for "passionate love". The Hebrew word for man "ish", and for woman "ishah" are rooted in the word "esh" for fire and passionate love. The Hebrew language is not a mathematical language like Greek, it is a language that expresses the Heart Of GOD towards mankind, which is passionate. Our GOD is a consuming fire. ( Hebrews 12:29)
We are the objects of His consuming passionate love.
Selah...
The priests were responsible to keep the fire burning, but who lit the fire initially?
In Leviticus 9 we read that the consecration of Aaron and his sons took 8 days and culminated in the offering of several sacrifices, all of which are representative of The LORD Jesus Christ Himself. When the sacrifices were made according to GOD 's instructions, GOD Himself lit the fire from within Himself. The fire was from His Presence.
See Leviticus 9:24
In His Presence the people were filled with joy and fell prostrate before His Presence in worship and adoration. Psalm 16:11 tells us that in His Presence is fullness of joy.
Selah.
We who are born again of The Spirit of GOD having trusted in the sacrifice of GOD's own Son for our salvation ( John 3:16) are now His kings and priests, a royal priesthood. See 1 Peter 2:9 and Revelation 1:5-6 as were the covenant people of Israel. See Exodus 19:6
In Psalm 5:3 David uses the priestly term "arak", the priestly duty of arranging and preparing the altar for sacrifice. It is also the same word used in Genesis 22:9 when Abraham prepared the wood as an altar on which to sacrifice Isaac. Here David expresses his laying upon the altar of his heart all the pieces of his life in prayer, and watches and waits for the fire of passionate love from God to be poured out within his heart. Our hearts are GOD's altar. In Psalm 43:4 the psalmist says he finds exceeding joy at the altar of GOD. The altar of the heart is where we find our deepest joy and purpose. Is our heart dedication to GOD and the joy of knowing Him or have we dedicated some part to an idol?
Nothing and no one can satisfy the longings of the human heart other than GOD Himself.
Selah....
GOD The Holy Spirit Himself awakens our hearts to His love and our need of salvation
See 1 John 4:19
John 15:16.
Acts 16:14.
We are then responsible to respond and once the fire of GOD's undying passionate love is lit, our part is to keep that love relationship burning every day through fellowship with Him.
Keep me burning LORD. Keep me burning.

In John 10:27-30 The LORD Jesus Christ declares that no one can snatch those who belong to Him from either His hand of The Father's hand because He and The Father are One.
Being Jewish and speaking to Jewish people, our LORD knew the Hebrew underlying richness of this statement. In Hebrew thought, the palm of the hand represents the heart of the person. In Psalm 139:5 the Hebrew text says we are enclosed within the palm of GOD's hand. The word used here is "kaph" meaning the palm, the hollow of the hand.
In Isaiah 49:16 The LORD declares that His people are carved and cut into the palm of His hand. Note that the Hebrew text does NOT say our names are carved into His palm like a long list... No... the image here is of GOD's cup-like palm being filled with His intimate knowledge of His own people. Let us remember how we as individuals can receive personal salvation through trusting in the shed blood of Messiah on our behalf. His hands are for all time and eternity cut and scarred for our salvation. Selah...
Isaiah 62:3 has a wonderful image of a marriage ceremony. The crown of beauty here is not the golden crown of a monarch, but the leafy wreath of a Jewish wedding ceremony, worn by both bride and groom. Let us remember that Messiah wore a crown of thorns on our behalf. Selah.....
The first word for hand in this verse is the Hebrew word "yad" meaning hand But the second word translated as hand is the Hebrew word "kaph" meaning palm of the hand. The royal diadem in the Hebrew text is actually another type of ordornment for the head. It means a royal turban. The Hebrew word is "tzanif" meaning turban. The word "royal" is the Hebrew word "melukhah" which means both "royal" and "queen". This verse is a wedding vow. A declaration of eternal commitment, love and provision.
Isaiah 54:5 declares to GOD's covenant people that He is their husband.
When we hold hands with someone, we are palm to palm representing heart to heart. No one can snatch GOD's own from His hands because they have been cut and engraved into His very heart.
Selah...
Shalom.

If we are worshippers of God:
Our hands hold a pilgrim's staff.
Our march is Zionward.
Our eyes are toward the coming of The LORD.
Our hearts are in His hands without reserve.
Compared to Him the sun is darkness,
all beauty is deformity and all man's wisdom is folly.
Selah...

Psalm 32:1-2 declares that those whose sins are forgiven are blessed! HALLELUJAH Yes indeed! These verses also list 3 categories of sin because in Hebrew there are 3 different words used for 3 different types of sin that in English are transgression ( pesha), sin/ missing the mark ( chataah) and iniquity (avon). Isaiah 53:5 tells us that Messiah was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities and in verse 12 states He bore the sin of many.
Hallelujah! What a Saviour! His blood truly cleanses us from ALL unrighteousness

We may all grow weary at times in the spiritual battlefield of this life, but no matter the raging schemes of Satan, no matter the seduction of the world or the temptations of the flesh, Christ is our Victor and Victory. Those who have gone before us give out the rallying cry of the old hymn:
"Onward Christian soldiers, marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus going on before"
As a good soldier of Christ Jesus, Yeshua The Messiah, we must each endure hardship and share in suffering for our LORD and for The Gospel.

In John 14:9 our LORD Jesus said "He who has seen Me has seen the Father". Christ Jesus is Father's perfect gift to us. Through Him we know the Father and can run into His everlasting arms in every situation and need we face.

Nothing our Father does is arbitrary, capricious or whimsical. He is always working out the good counsel of His will in our lives. The ultimate holy calling upon our lives is our sanctification that we may glorify Him, a vessel of honour ready for every good work. By His grace He turns our "mess" into His "message". Hallelujah.
"But now O LORD, You are our Father, we are the clay, and You are our potter, we are all the work of Your hand"
Isaiah 64:8
