Welded, Bonded To GOD

Psalm 91:2
"I will say of The LORD He is my refuge and my fortress:my GOD, in Him will I trust" The Hebrew word for "trust" here is "Betach" meaning to be welded to in homage and surrender.
When 2 pieces of metal are welded together they become melted into one another, blended together in an unbreakable bond. When we trust - Betach- in GOD we become welded into Him. Any impurities however in the welding process such as water, oil or flux cause gases to be caught in the solidifying metal which can eventually cause cracking, as in the case of steel. As we trust in GOD we also bow down our hearts in surrender to Him, repent of any sin that will hinder our being welded into Him and receive His forgiveness and cleansing through the Blood of Messiah, our Saviour Jesus Christ. Brothers and sisters, it is not sufficient to be merely attached to The LORD... we must be welded into Him, and He into us. We must yield to the Purifier, The Holy Spirit as He convicts us of sin, bringing us to repentance. His Holy Fire purifies us and welds us to Himself so that there is no separation. We are in Him, and He in us.
