GOD Remembers Yahweh Zakar .mp3

How do we remember The LORD ? And how does He
remember us?
In Hebrew, "Zakar" is an action verb meaning to
remember. "Zakar" is not
merely to have a thought however , but rather to do something
intentional in accordance with what you remember. A husband who remembers it his wife's birthday or their wedding anniversary and does nothing to show that he has remembered will suffer the consequences for several days...
A Hebrew word you don’t want to forget is the word for remember: "zakar". In the Old Testament, to "zakar" is not merely to rifle through the files in your head until you find that fact you’ve been searching for, but to "zakar" is to employ your hands and feet and lips to engage in whatever action that the remembrance requires. Biblical remembering is a body activity, not merely a head activity.
For instance, when “God remembered Noah” and all within the ark, He “made a wind blow over the earth and the waters subsided,” (Gen 8:1). GOD remembered Noah by doing something, by sending the saving, flood-drying wind. Remembrance = a Divine act of mercy.
Or think of Joseph. When he interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh’s cupbearer, he begged him, “Only remember ["zakar" ] me, when it is well with you, and please do me the kindness to remember me ["zakar" ] to Pharaoh, and so get me out of this house,” (40:15). Most English translations render “remember me to Pharaoh” as “to mention me,” but the verb is "zakar" . Joseph expected more from the cupbearer than pleasant recollections. He wanted Pharaoh’s servant to do him kindness (Hebrew: "chesed" ) by remembrance resulting in action. When the LORD sees the rainbow and “remembers [his] covenant,” He actively prevents a cosmic global flood from recurring (9:15). When He remembered Abraham, He “sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow” of Sodom and Gomorrah (19:29). When He remembered Rachel, He “opened her womb,” (29:22).
Biblical remembering is a body activity, not merely a head activity. Likewise, to forget is not to act. When GOD remembers, He does. Psalm 103:11 says that GOD remembers that we are dust, meaning that He knows that because of The Fall of Adam in Eden, we died spiritually and became subject to sin and death.
But Hallelujah! He remembers us and He saves us. John says that “the word became flesh and dwelt among us,” (1:14). You might also say, “GOD's remembrance became flesh and dwelt among us.” Divine recollection was demonstrated in the incarnation of the mercy of GOD in the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ Who tabernacled amongst us and died in our place for our sins on the cross. The love of GOD is never passive but always active. See John 3:16
We are those remembered by GOD . We are the objects of his active, saving, incarnating, remembering mercy in Christ. For Him to "zakar" is to act in a way in keeping with the love that defines His very essence.
Messiah's own Hebrew mother sums it up well as she closes her pregnancy song, the Magnificat, with these words, “He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy,” (Luke 1:54). She should know. Growing inside her womb was the incarnation of divine remembrance in the Son who would act to save us all.

The Hebrew word for sacrifice is "zavach" meaning to surrender up, to sacrifice or to slaughter. In Deuteronomy 32:17 we read that the people of Israel had become comfortable and complacent and they compromised their relationship with The LORD and sacrificed to demons. All false pagan gods are demons. Satan always wants to steal our hearts away from our Creator, Elohim our Father and ultimately have our hearts for himself. In 2 Chronicles 28:23 we read how Ahaz refused to turn to The LORD even in great trouble because he wanted to sing that mantra song of man, " I did it my way". He sought to serve demonic gods to serve his own ends and it lead to destruction. In Psalm 51:17 we read that the sacrifices of GOD are firstly a broken spirit. The Hebrew word for broken here is "shavar" meaning to be shattered into splinters, broken into pieces, emotionally broken at heart. The word for spirit is "ruach" the core of who we are, can eternal spirit made in the image of GOD Himself. Secondly the sacrifices of GOD are a broken and contrite heart. The word for contrite here in Hebrew is "dakah" which means crushed, humbled and crumbled. It is a heart that has rejected the words of the song "My Way"
"I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way....
For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows and did it my way!
Yes, it was my way"
This was the song of King Ahaz, a man who deliberately and constantly ran away from His Creator and refused to surrender his will to The LORD GOD. It is interesting to note that the Hebrew word for demon is "shuwd" and it also means to turn something into a waste product and to destroy. Anything we do without The LORD or for the worship of self, which is ultimately demonic, is a vanity. It is an utter waste of our gift of time and energy and always leads to destruction. (Proverbs 14:12)Let us be careful to utterly reject the mantra of fallen man. We allow the Holy Spirit to bring us to a place of utter surrender, being humbled and crumbled before Him because He loves us and we love Him, above all.

The 8th day of the Feast of Tabernacles/ Sukkot (known as Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah) is symbolically linked to the new heavens and new earth because it signifies the culmination of GOD's redemptive plan and the beginning of a new, eternal creation. This "eighth day" represents a time beyond the seven-day cycle of creation and is a symbol of eternal life and a new beginning beyond the earthly cycle of sin, suffering, and death
Just as the creation story was completed in six days and the seventh day was for rest, the eighth day symbolizes a new, eternal order that transcends the original creation cycle.
: The eighth day signifies entering into eternal rest with GOD , a concept that points forward to the ultimate fulfillment of God's plan when the new heavens and new earth will be established.
The Biblical promise, "Behold, I make all things new" (Revelation 21:5), is seen as the fulfillment of the eighth day's symbolism, marking the end of the current world and the beginning of a new one where GOD dwells with His people.
The new earth is our rest from striving against evil and unrighteousness, where we live fully in the blessing and tangible presence of the LORD – like the Garden of Eden, only better. Imagine a place where there is absolutely no unrighteousness – no illness, no need for security, no ill intentions or wrong motives, no abuse or exploitation of any kind, no baggage or hang-ups. A place where everything is holy, everything brings life, everything is in complete alignment with the holiness and righteousness of Yahweh, Abba Father. This is our destiny.
Everything else we do in the Hebrew Feasts leads up to this day. Everything else we do in our lives leads up to the day we enter eternity. Eternity is when real life actually begins – life as Yahweh, Abba Father intended it, in the Promised Land of His Eternal Presence. It’s what his whole plan for mankind is about. Eternity is the supernatural culmination of all of it.
That yearning for eternity which was set in our hearts from the beginning will be supernaturally brought to life on this day, when we begin our new life in the new heaven and new earth.
Let this day remind us why we do everything else – what it’s all leading up to. The 8th Day is the last Feast, but it’s just the beginning for us.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 tells us:
Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

The two olive trees in Zechariah 4:11 principally symbolize the Spirit-anointed priest (Joshua) and Davidic governor (Zerubbabel), secondarily prefigure the Messianic priest-king Jesus/ Yeshuah , corporately portray GOD's covenant people, and prophetically anticipate the two end-time witnesses. Indeed, Joshua is the English pronunciation of Yeshuah, which in Greek is Jesus. His Name means The LORD saves - salvation. In every dimension these witnesses affirm that GOD Himself supplies the oil—an unbroken testimony from post-exilic Jerusalem to the consummation of history soon to be fulfilled.
Zechariah’s fifth night-vision presents a solid gold lampstand fed continuously by two living olive trees. The lampstand symbolizes GOD's people reflecting His light (cf. Exodus 25:31-40), while the olive trees supply unceasing oil—an image of the Holy Spirit’s power (Zechariah 4:6).
Leviticus 24:2 says 'Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.'
The vision is given during the time of rebuilding the Second Temple after the exile, which was a period of restoring the community and its connection to GOD . Sukkot/ The Feast of Tabernacles celebrates GOD's provision and His presence in a new dwelling. The two olive trees in Zechariah 4:11 principally symbolize the Spirit-anointed priest (Joshua) and Davidic governor (Zerubbabel), secondarily prefigure the Messianic priest-king Jesus, corporately portray God’s covenant people, and prophetically anticipate the two end-time witnesses. The vision is given during the time of rebuilding the Second Temple after the exile, which was a period of restoring the community and its connection to God. Sukkot celebrates God's provision and His presence in both the temporary tents of flesh in this time upon the earth and in the ages to come, a new dwelling. The vision's imagery connects to this theme by showing that God's people's continued spiritual light comes from Him, not from a human-built structure alone. The imagery is repeated in Revelation 11:4, where two witnesses are called "olive trees" and "lampstands." They represent the divine empowerment of God's end-time witnesses who provide spiritual light and testimony in the face of persecution and demonic opposition
Pure olive oil from crushed olives was essential for lighting the lamps in the Tabernacleand Temple (Exodus 27:20, Leviticus 24:1-3). Symbolically, the intense pressure and \"crushing\" process is used as a metaphor for Jesus's suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane (meaning "olive press"), his agony, and the pouring out of the Holy Spirit. The Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed before his arrest, was an olive press, and the crushing of olives is used to illustrate the immense spiritual pressure he experienced.Just as crushing olives releases oil, the crushing of Jesus on the cross released the Holy Spirit. The oil of anointing is often associated with the Holy Spirit, which is poured out after Christ's work is finished
We, His born again people, are His witnesses and vessels for the oil of The Holy Spirit in the earth. In order to shine brightly for Him our self will must be crushed. We are to follow the example of our Great High Priest, The LORD Yeshuah.
‘For even to this were you called [it is inseparable from your vocation]. For Christ also suffered for you, leaving you [His personal] example, so that you should follow in His footsteps. He was guilty of no sin, neither was deceit (guile) ever found on His lips. When He was reviled and insulted, He did not revile or offer insult in return; [when] He was abused and suffered, He made no threats [of vengeance]; but he trusted [Himself and everything] to Him Who judges fairly.’ 1 Peter 2:21-23 AMPC

The olive tree is a significant Biblical symbol of the Holy Spirit. The first reference is in Genesis 8:11 when the dove, which also represents the Holy Spirit, brought back to Noah a freshly plucked olive leaf. In Psalm 52:8 David compares himself to being like a green olive tree, representing being spiritually fruitful, trusting in GOD rather than material wealth or status. In Zechariah 4 we read of the two olive trees on either side of the Menorah representing the two anointed ministers, Joshua the high priest and Zerubbabel the govenor, who by the Holy Spirit lead the people of Israel out of exile in Babylon and rebuilt the Temple in Jerusalem. They also are prophetic of the two witnesses of Revelation 11:4. In Romans 11 Paul uses the allegory of the practice of a wild olive tree being grafted into a cultivated olive tree. It is a metaphor for God's plan of salvation where believing Gentiles are grafted into the spiritual lineage of Israel. There is a stern warning to never be arrogant in attitude towards the Jews and the nation of Israel. The hardening of their heart is only partial. GOD will fulfill His promises to Israel. This church age is fast drawing to a close. In Luke 21:24 the LORD Jesus speaks of the scattered people of Israel around the world after the Romans destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem in AD 70 "until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." In May 1948 the nation of Israel was born again after 2000 years of its people being scattered throughout the nations. Since 1948 there has been a "gathering in" of the Jewish people back to their homeland. One of the terms for Sukkot / The Feast of Tabernacles is the "gathering in" at harvest. On GOD's calendar we are at the Autumn harvest time. We stand right at the end of the church age of grace before the fulfilment of Yom Teruah / The Feast of Trumpets in the rapture of the church. Every believer should study and understand Leviticus ch 23. GOD is at work. What is impossible with man is possible with GOD. Finally, let us remember that The LORD Jesus Messiah was crushed in spirit as He prayed in Gethsamane. The name Gethsamane means "Olive Press". He was crushed in the olive press of the cross of crucifiction unto death for us, " He was crushed for our iniquities" ( Isaiah 53:5) and the Holy Spirit has been poured out into the hearts of believers.
Glory to GOD for all time and eternity.

GOD 's calendar and timeline for mankind upon the earth is revealed to us in the 7 Biblical Feasts of Leviticus 23. The 4 Spring feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and Pentecost have been fulfilled in the death and resurrection of Messiah Jesus and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost at the birth of the church. Thus began the Church Age, but now we are fast approaching the end of this age. The Feast of Trumpets will be fulfilled in the rapture of the church. Yom Kippur, The Day of Atonement will be fulfilled by the spiritual restoration of the nation of Israel during the Great Tribulation. The Feast of Tabernacles will be fulfilled in the Messianic Millennial Kingdom and the 8th Day of The Feast Of Tabernacles will be fulfilled when GOD creates the new heavens and the new earth. The Feast of Tabernacles / Sukkot is a feast of joy ( Nehemiah 8:10), a time to remember how transient and temporary our life on this earth is, a pilgrimage or camping trip, and it is a time of in gathering of the harvest. Wheat and grapes are harvested and these are specifically referred to in Revelation 14 when The LORD Himself reaps the souls of the earth. Two other trees are also harvested at Sukkot : The fig tree and the olive tree. Both have 2 annual harvests, the first being at the time of the Spring feasts of Leviticus 23,and the second at the time of the Autumn feasts of Leviticus 23. The fig tree is a symbol of the physical nation of Israel. The olive tree represents the oil of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was first poured out upon the Jewish believers in Jerusalem. The LORD Jesus ascended to Heaven from the Mount of Olives ( Acts 1:11) and Zechariah 14:4 tells us that when He returns He shall stand upon the same Mount of Olives. The olive oil produced from the crushed olives of this Mount were used to anoint the kings and priests of Israel. 2 Peter 2:9, Revelation 1:6 and Revelation 5:10 tell us that we as born again believers on The LORD Jesus are now kings and priests, born again of The Holy Spirit who comes to tabernacle within our own spirit which tabernacles in a physical tent of flesh, blood and bone. The Mount of Olives is also known as the Mount of Anointing because the crushed olives were made into the special anointing oil. The term Messiah means Anointed One.
The Name of our LORD is Salvation The Anointed One
Messiah is Christ in Greek
Jesus is the Greek form of Yeshuah which means Salvation.
As we see the nations of the world turn against Israel, we see from Zechariah 14:1-4 that GOD Himself has ordained this time. He will fight the nations Himself and He is working everything out according to His plans and purposes ( Proverbs 16:4). Let us believe what GOD says and not what the lying spirit of the Mainstream media says which is a demonic anti Christ, anti GOD and anti Israel spirit.

Shalom shalom.

Israel is always GOD 's timeckock. His calender is not the man made Gregorian calender but the Hebrew calendar. The Feast of Tabernacles / Sukkot is at the time of the Autumn harvest in Israel. It is the 7th of the Biblical Feasts listed in Leviticus 23.
The first 4 Spring feasts have been fulfilled in the death ( Passover/Pesach and Feast of Unleavened Bread)/ Hag Hamatzot ) and resurrection of Messiah, Jesus Christ,(Feast of First Fruits/ Hag Habikkurim ) and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.(Pentecost / Shavuot) The final 3 Autumn feasts will be fulfilled in the rapture of the church ( Feast of Trumpets /Yom Teruah), the Great Tribulation and the spiritual restoration of Israel ( Day of Atonement /Yom Kippur) and the Messianic Kingdom / The Millennium Kingdom ( Feast of Tabernacles / Sukkot) followed by the 8th Day when GOD will create the new heavens and the new earth.
The Feast of Tabernacles /Sukkot is a time of harvest of wheat, of grapes, of figs and of olives all of which have many Scriptures attached to them.
After 2000 years of having no homeland after the Romans destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem in AD 70, in May of 1948 the nation of Israel was reborn fulfilling the prophecies found in Amos 9:14-15, Isaiah 66:7-8,Ezekiel 37:10-14, Jeremiah 16:14-15 amongst others. Since then the Church Age has been drawing to its close as we approach the fulfilment of the 3 Autumn Feasts. Let the nations take note that whoever attacks Israel attacks GOD Himself and that is not a clever thing to do. Let Christians take note. Follow God's Word and not the Anti Christ lying spirit of this world system. Be ready. The harvest of the souls of men draws near. See Joel 3:13 and Revelation 14:5 and 14-20. As surely as the first Spring feasts of Leviticus 23 have been fulfilled, the Autumn feasts shall be fullfilled, exactly as "It is written". Amen. Shalom.

During the earthly ministry of The LORD Jesus Christ, Yeshuah, historical sources tell us that at The Feast of Tabernacles /Sukkot, there were four massive lampstands, called Or LeGoyim (“Light to the Nations”), whose light reached every courtyard in Jerusalem. These lamps pointed in all four directions, north, south, east, and west, symbolizing God’s light for all people. It was during the Feast of Tabernacles/ Sukkot, in the illuminated Temple, that the LORD Yeshua declared:
“I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
(John 8:12, KJV)
John ch 7 informs us that He was at the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem and John chapters 7 to 10 are all about what The LORD Jesus said and did at this time.

Thursday Oct 09, 2025

In the time of the ministry of the Lord Jesus upon the earth on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles, the priests would go down to the pool of Siloam in the City of David (just south of where the Western Wall is today) and they would fill a golden vessel with the water there. They would go up to the temple, through the Water Gate, accompanied by the sound of the shofar, and then they would pour the water so that it flowed over the altar, along with wine from another bowl. It was at this time that in John 7:37-38 we read these words: " On the last day of the feast ( Tabernacles, in Hebrew Sukkot)
the great day. Jesus stood up and cried out" If any one thirsts let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water' " Isaiah 12:3 says" With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation" The word for salvation in the Hebrew is Yeshuah , the Name of The LORD. 'Jesus' is the Greek form of Yeshuah. We draw living waters from Christ Himself. Let us also remember that when He died for us on the cross, both water and blood flowed from His pierced side ( John 19:34) just as the water and wine were poured together by the priests over the altar.
The LORD Yeshua was also referencing Isaiah 55, a chapter calling the people of Israel in particular to salvation.
"Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters, and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.”
Revelation 22:17
The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.” Salvation is the Name of our LORD.See Matthew 1:20-21.His blood has been given for us as He declared as He lifted the cup of wine at Passover (Matthew 26:27-28).
When we are born again of The Spirit of GOD He takes up residence inside of us in our own spirit. We therefore draw from Him within. We learn to live this life from the inside out. We draw all we need for this pilgrimage from Him Who dwells within.
Shalom
