What’s In A Name Part 5.mp3

What's In A Name Part 5 El Paran means "Protuding Glory" or "Oak of Paran".This is a significant Biblical location symbolizing a place of spiritual testing , Divine provision and a place of transition. Paran was a wilderness and this place El Paran symbolizes GOD's Presence being with us through the wilderness. Ismael lived there. See Genesis 21:21 David went there after the death of Samual. See 1 Samuel 25:1 The wilderness journey symbolises the trials and growth of our faith just the people of Israel learned to rely on GOD's provisions , sustenance and direction for 40 years . The LORD Jesus Himself was tested for 40 days in the wilderness . See Matthew 4 :1-11 The Tabernacle of GOD with His Presence rested in Paran See Numbers 10:12 pre figuring Christ Himself dwelling among us .See John 1:14 See Deuteronomy 33:2 - GOD shines forth from Mount Paran and this is linked to the return of Christ. In Habakkuk 3:3 Paran is referred to highlighting GOD's majestic Presence and He Who once marched from Paran will again shake earth and sky. En -Mishpat (Kadesh) En-Mishpat means "Spring of Judgment" os "Fountain of Justice" It signifies a place of Divine Decision, GOD's ultimate authority. It is often identified with Kadesh which comes from the root Hebrew word "Kodesh" meaning holy- set apart. This is where the 12 spies came to give their report of the Promised Land, and, refusing to listen to Caleb, the people refused to go up and take it .See Numbers 13:25 In Numbers 20 it is the place where Moses struck the rock instead of speaking to is as instructed by GOD and as a consequence was not permitted to enter the Promised Land. See Numbers 20:12 Decisions were made at Kadesh that changed destinies Amalakites- In Hebrew tradition Amalek represents utter evil and those who have given themselves over to dark impurity,as well as spiritual blindness and arrogance against GOD. The LORD Himself declared perpetual warfare against Amalek. See Exodus 17:16 Amalek embodies the principle of "lo yareh HaShem" meaning the lack of the fear of The LORD and symbolizes the powers of darkness and evil. Deuteronomy 25:17-19 is a call to spiritual warfare in our lives. We cannot be pasisve and just accept evil in our lives or society at large. Amorites -In Hebrew this means "The Talkers" or "The Sayers" representing deceit and lies. These people were also giants in physical stature. Their King Og is decribed by Moses in Deuteronomy 3:11 as being the last "remnant of the giants" All around the world enormous giant skeletons have been found but they have always been confiscated by governments and hidden out of public sight. I don't need to ever see such skeletons however. The Bibe says what it means and means what it says. These giants existed and were connected to the hybrid beings of half fallen angel and half human beings of Genesis chapter 6. Hazazan-tamar- In Hebrew this means "Split or Divided Palm" Hazaz= to divide Tamar=Pal tree In tthe palm tree symbolises victory, righteousness, peace and prosperity. See Psalm 92:12-15 This lying spirit manifests in pride, gossip, quarrelling, jealousy and selfishness. See Romans 16:17-18, James 3:14-16 and Matthew 12:25
