Finish The Race Set Before Us

In the Christian walk of faith, there is no such thing as standing still. We are either moving forwards or backwards. Stephen died, surrounded by intense hatred, with his eyes fixed on the glory of The LORD Jesus Christ. See Acts 7:55-56. In 2 Corinthians 3:18 we read how we are transformed into the same image of Messiah as we gaze upon him. We become what we constantly behold. May we become a mirror to this world of The Living GOD of glory. We will be rejected by those who have rejected Him, but as we keep our gaze fixed on Him, and not those who revile us, The Holy Spirit will enable us to finish the race set before us as individuals. Good intentions will not get us to the finish line. We need to be in relationship with our LORD Jesus walking with Him each day, each step of the road.
